Ember was the first pup born to the Silent-Pad Pack. Her mother Ashen had high expectations during her puphood, and her brother Tawny constantly competed with her. She grew up resenting the pressure put on her by the pack and Ashen, and promised herself that her own pups would never feel inadequate like she had. Her pups, while not raised to be ambitious, were descendants of Ashen Pelt and therefore eligible to become leader. They were 'safe,' but some wolves would do anything for power...
