Platypus doesn't mind being a chaser, she is admittedly rather good at it. The only thing setting her back is her anxiety. Platypus can't help but second guess her own ability.

Platypus has always been an anxious and timid wolf. Marigold befriended her a long time ago, comforting and encouraging the wolf during hard times. These two care for each other greatly.


History

Platypus was born to Patch and Rust alongside her littermates Emu, Dingo, and Snake. Platypus has been an anxious wolf since she was small, timid, and overthinking her every move. She spent a lot of time with her parents, especially her Bibi, instead of exploring and playing like her littermates. Her parents hoped her confidence would grow with time.

Once she reached adolescence, Platypus decided to train as a chaser. It seemed like the easiest job for her, she was rather fast, and it wasn't nearly as stressful as any other hunting roles. She showed herself to be skilled at the job, but she had a hard time bonding with her hunting team. Talking to other wolves gave her serious anxiety.

During her training, Platypus met a dog that slowly began to follow her around. Much to her and her packs surprise, Platypus found comfort in the dog, she felt calmer and braver when the dog was around. The dog, named Bingo, became an honorary member of Platypus's hunting team, being labeled as an emotional support dog.

Platypus's confidence slowly grew by the day, and she managed to bond with her hunting team. By the time she reached adulthood, she had become a reliable chaser, and a slightly braver wolf. Platypus was proud of herself, if only a little.

Platypus never cared for romance; she didn't mind making friends, but she never wished for more than that. The idea of having a mate just made her feel uncomfortable, luckily her pack and family were very understanding of her feelings.

Platypus felt she would never recover when her Bibi passed. She had always been so close to them, seeking most of her comfort from the wolf. With them now gone, Platypus isn't sure what she was supposed to do. Her family and friends went out of their way to comfort and help Platypus through her grief, she was grateful for their kindness. If losing her Bibi was hard, losing her last remaining parent, her mother, was unbearable. For a long time, Platypus wasn't sure how to go on, sadly, the only thing that can heal grief is time.

On the 7th year and 6th month of her life, Platypus made her way to the mountains summit. Caribou, Emu, Dingo, and Snake keeping her company through most of the journey. Once at the top, looking out at the endless sky, Platypus, Emu, Dingo, and Snake were greeted by their parents, Patch and Rust, who gently guided them to the afterlife.
