Emu makes for a very skilled chaser, patient and precise. Their hunting team always know they can rely on Emu on even the most difficult hunts.

Emu and Magma have been friends for a long time, even before Dingo and Magma got close. Being best friends with their brother in law is amusing to Magma, and they enjoy insisting they are to thank for Dingo and Magma's relationship.


History

Emu was born to Patch and Rust alongside their littermates Platypus, Dingo, and Snake. Emu has always been a fan of rules and order, something that annoyed their littermates greatly. They would often tell on their littermates whenever Emu found them breaking any sorts of rules.

Once they reached adolescence, Emu chose the role of a chaser. Emu excelled as a chaser right away, watching the older wolves diligently and spending their spare time practicing on their own. The pack were impressed by Emu's devotion and even considered making them a full Chaser earlier than their siblings. After their siblings' complaints however, the pack decided it best to make Emu wait.

By the time Emu reached adulthood, they were an amazing chaser. Even so, Emu knew they could do better and continued to spend their spare time practicing and training, ever eager to improve. Emu's littermates couldn't help but roll their eyes at their sibling's antics.

Finding a mate wasn't a large priority for Emu. They wouldn't mind taking a mate one day, but they weren't going to waste their time looking for love either. There were plenty of better uses for their time.

It took everything Emu had to sit and grieve properly when their Bibi died. The grief too much, they wanted to simply absorb themselves in their work. However, their mother warned them this wouldn't help them at all and would only hurt them more in the long run. In the end, Emu knew they needed to confront their feelings if they wanted to move forward. Emu felt more prepared when their mother died and confronted their grief and feelings head on.

On the 7th year and 6th month of their life, Emu made their way to the mountains summit. Caribou, Platypus, Dingo, and Snake keeping them company through most of the journey. Once at the top, looking out at the endless sky, Platypus, Emu, Dingo, and Snake were greeted by their parents, Patch and Rust, who gently guided them to the afterlife.
