Splotch

Splotch was a proud wolf. Sired by the packs previous lead male and female, Kavali and Moonshine, he was fully aware that if he had been born a she-wolf, that he would have inherited the right to lead them. He harboured some mild resentment towards Branwyn as a result, but ultimately could not hold fault against her for his mother's choice.

Having been selected as a scout since his puppyhood, he didn't mind spending so much time away from his family, it made the fact he did not have birthright to leadership a little bit easier to swallow. It also wasn't as if he was alone during his exploring, he had Shimmerfeather, his late mother's lunar crow to keep him company. Like all the wolves in the Forest Hound Pack, those that were fortunate enough to be blessed with an animal muse had a special link with them. For Splotch and other Scouts, this meant they could see through the eyes of their flying companions.
