Two of the most energetic wolves in the pack, Moss and Snake match each other's energy ten fold. These two often challenge each other to races and all sorts of competitions.
History
Once an adolescent, no wolf was surprised Moss chose to train as a chaser. Moss's natural speed and energy made her a promising chaser even from a young age. Her hunting team quickly grew fond of the energetic apprentice, hunting was never boring with her around.
By the time she reached adulthood, Moss had indeed become a greatly skilled chaser. Fast and full of stamina, Moss would spend all day hunting if she could. When she wasn't hunting, she was checking on her clanmates and playing with the packs pup. The whole pack was fond of Moss and loved the time they got to spend with her. She was truly a ray of sunshine within the pack.
Moss loves everyone she meets, but having one special wolf to love would be nice. Finding a wolf to spend her life with, however, is easier said than done. Still, she has plenty of time to find a mate and Moss is prepared to be patient if she must be. She had always been uncertain about having pups, however. Well, she was until she found a strange, moss-covered pup abandoned in the forest. Moss couldn't help but take the pup home, naming him Fuzz. Moss had never expected to be a mother, but she adored her new son.
Moss couldn't have been more excited when she heard her parents were having another litter. She would teach them to hunt and fight and she would be the best big sister ever! Looking down at the large litter of six, Moss found herself filled with joy! So many new siblings to love. Moss adores her younger siblings, even if they can be rather grouchy and mean spirited at times. Hopefully they will grow out of it.
Moss was crushed when her father Badger passed, she had never lost a parent before. She couldn't remember a time when she was so sad. Still, she knew her family needed her support, especially her pessimistic father Finch. When their mother Elk passed, while it still hurt, she felt more prepared. While it was true that Moss was closest to her mother, that also meant she had got to spend so much time with her mother throughout her life. She had no unfinished business or regrets and was content with the knowledge her mother was now with her friends and family in the afterlife. Finch was the last parent she lost; Moss felt a sense of peace from this. Finch had been so lonely and lost since his mates died. Now, they were all back together.
After the death of Magma, Moss knew someone needed to take on the role of mentor. While Moss had no desire to take on this role, she knew that between her and Beaver, she was the better choice. Beaver was so anxious… The role of mentor would only torment him. With a heavy heart, Moss took on the role of Mentor. It wasn't an awful job, though she did miss her days as a chaser.
On the 7th year and 6th month of her life, Moss made their way to the mountains summit. Ruby, Caribou, and Beaver keeping her company through most of the journey. Once at the top, looking out at the endless sky, Caribou, Moss, and Beaver were greeted by their parents, Elk, Badger, and Fern, who gently guided them to the afterlife.
