Maize Field came from a peaceful pack that accepted all into their ranks. When Maize grew old enough to fend for herself she left her pack to start her own elsewhere, hoping to give more wolves a safe place to live. She wandered and soon faced the harsh reality of danger and desperation. Many wolves were aggressive and chased her off. Many wolves called her foolish for ever thinking she could do this by herself. After months of fending for herself she met her current mate Oak Step while he was being surrounded by wolves. She rescued him and together they would form the Clear Heart Pack.
