Growing up, Pluto always had a lot of pressure on him. His father, Aethiops, was a great king of many lands, and expected nothing but greatness from his pups. Pluto and his sister, Sundapple, were no different. Their father would take them out for hours at a time to train endlessly. Although his father wasn't very good, Pluto had a close relationship with his mother, Elenere. Elenere had fallen in love with Aethiops when she was young, but she grew apart from him once the pups were born and she saw how much pressure he put on them. Elenere always tried to get Aethiops to not put so much pressure on the pups and to get him to be a little more forgiving. However, when Pluto was only 8 months old, Elenere died of influenza, leaving Aethiops to do what he wanted. Sundapple, who was much more outspoken than Pluto, decided that she had enough and left the pack shortly after Elenere's death. When Pluto was a year and a half old, he finally worked up the courage to leave the pack and try to find one of his own. He stumbled across a scout from the Celestial Claw Pack, who brought him to be judged before the pack leader, Shadow. Shadow decided that Pluto could stay, and he's been in the celestial claw pack ever since. Pluto tries to be the very best father he can be to all the pups, because he knew how it felt to not have a good father.
