Arctic Blanch

Arctic Blanch was born to a lone she-wolf. Growing up with only one parent to care for her, life was hard. She didn't blame her mother, though, admiring her for her strength. Her littermates grew and left to start their own lives, but Blanch wanted to stay with their mother. To her dismay, she became suddenly ill not long after her siblings' departure. Blanch tried what limited knowledge she had, but nothing seemed to help. Her mother passed within weeks.

The death of her only parent was a harsh blow to the young she-wolf, and she wandered in a stupor away from her home territory. This is when she bumped into young Sun Eyes, who was gentle and kind to the grieving stranger. She was thin and weak from days of aimless meandering, so he brought her to his pack and offered her food. She gratefully accepted, and finally began to heal.

When she had her strength again, Blanch was determined to repay the kindness the Sky Wheel Pack had shown her. She began hunting with Snow, Ash, Peat, and Delta. She fit right in to their hunting party, and they took down more prey than ever. Blanch started to wonder why she would leave this place, these wolves. There was no one waiting for her in her old territory, by now another wolf may even have taken up residence. She kept pushing off her plans to depart, until finally
