Biography
Born in times of disaster and chaos, Elissa was raised in the Winterset Pack. The sudden arrival of cryptids made the wolves wary of the lands outside their territory for the weeks following. Things were beginning to look up when something changed in Jester, the pack stud and her father. The other wolves told her the stories of the previous stud, and Jester's wicked grin at his funeral. Something had snapped in him, he was becoming one of those creatures the older wolves only whispered about. When Elissa reached adulthood she set out from the pack, determined to learn more about these cryptids and monsters that her father was set on becoming.

Arrival-Departure Dates: 9/14-9/14
Story: Elissa soon arrived at the Adolphous pack, her paws were tired and her eyes peeled for any Cryptids or monsters alike. She was a hunter after all. A pack was out hunting and ended up stumbling upon her. This caused two members of the party to get into a fight. Shinobi finally got the fight broken up. Elissa's fur stood on end when she saw him. The spikes growing from him and his fangs glistening in the light. Her lips pulled back. "Cryptid monster!" She was about to lunge when a member of the party tackled her. This caused Shinobi and the other wolf to get into another tussle. Subduing the other he finally turned back to Elissa. "No I am not a cryptid monster. These are just decorations."
It took quite a bit of convincing but finally Elissa believed him. The hunting party went back and explained to Norðurljós what happened and why they failed the hunt. Norðurljós nodded, "Welcome to Adolphous make yourself at home." Elissa nodded and ended up growing close to Shinobi finding out he was also the breeding male of the pack.
They ended up having three pups. Shortly after the pups were born she grew horns of her own. Had Shinobi lied? She was suppose to be a fighter of cryptids and the monsters alike and here she was now looking similar to one. She didn't get the chance to ask. She had to return to her home pack as the newborns wouldn't survive the trek to the desert which is where the pack was making it's new home. Shinobi was out on another hunt. With a heavy heart she gathered her young and headed for home.

Story: Elissa, now more confused than ever, wandered into a large deciduous forest. Night had fallen and stars twinkled above. She was startled when a blue mist began to cover over her paws. When did this get here?
She froze, hearing a chattering sound nearby and turned to see a small chipmunk, fur bright and blue and glowing. Elissa blinked a few times to make sure she was seeing it right. Suddenly the chipmunk darted off before she could observe it any further and she shook her head softly, trying to clear her thoughts. Will I become a glowing creature like that next?
"Hello, a traveler," a friendly feminine voice barked. A strong, lithe she-wolf stepped into view, her pelt glowing brightly. Hell, I will turn into a glowing wolf now, won't I?
"H-hi there. I am Elissa," she introduced, not particularly interested in getting involved with this wolf.
"Fret not. I am Maleko, Alpha of the Starshade Pack. My den is not far from here, would you like to rest?" Maleko offered.
Elissa looked bashful and muttered "You're not going to turn me away because of the spikes?"
"Spikes or no, you're still a wolf and you look like you have many stories to share. So do I. We could talk while we walk," Maleko offered with a swish of her tail. Reluctantly, Elissa agreed to follow and went with her to the Starshade Pack. Apparently these woods are filled with lunar energy and at night, lunar creatures stumble from their world into the mortal plane through that energy. It's what made the lunar marks on Maleko's fur glow bright. The exposure to the energy also gave a residual glow to those who are exposed to it for a long time. The den was located in the heart of the forest where the trees grew densest. Leaves blocked out all light, even starlight, shading the den from the stars. Roots overlapped and created hollows that served as dens for the wolves. Despite the lack of starlight, it was bright from the glow of the wolves and the mist.
After some time, Elissa finally found some peace within the Starshade Pack, feeling welcomed more than she thought she deserved. She loved learning to care for the pack's pups and exchanging stories with Maleko. Even though she was the Alpha, she seemed to take special time for Elissa to talk. Finally Maleko found some ceremonious bones from past prey and gave them to Elissa as a token of their friendship to take with her on her journey. Elissa parted ways with the Starshade wolves with a howl and happily made her way to her next adventure.

Story: Elissa made her way once more to the next pack where she was warmly welcomed by the alpha selestial! In the beginning of her journey here all the task were filled so she had a opportunity to take it easy for a bit. Although there was one pup in particular that shell never forget. Chimney Despite her small size, it seemed she found joy in telling the other puppies what to do, which always entertained Elissa until she was being bossed around by the small pup. Until one day chimney went missing suddenly the other pups laughed it off mentioning - " she deserves it! I'm tired of her being bossy.. " only to be scolded by Elissa who waited no second to go search for the missing pup. Chimney was hiding in a small cave, she was scared and seemed upset- what's wrong? Elissa said... It's not my fault I'm bossy.. It's the only way they listen, I'm to small! - the young pup cried out. Elissa reminded chimney that she shouldn't let them get to her, nuzzling chimney as they went back to the pack. On the last day Elissa and chimney were spotted crafting some decorations for each other for safekeeping. As Elissa headed out she noticed chimney whimpering as she didn't want Elissa to leave. Elissa nuzzled her for comfort before heading off! She will always remember the bossy pup who just wanted to be known.

Story:
Elissa had travelled now a while, visiting various packs but couldn't always find a an answer to the questions that swayed in her head. Was she ever going to find what she was looking for?
She travelled tirelessly past the forests until reaching the taiga. The air was colder here, with more cliffs to scale at each turn. She had climbed up steep valleys before reaching a hidden stream, tucked away behind rocky outcrops. She lifted her muzzle to sense the air before her fur prickled slightly. "A wolf!" She thought, and followed the strangely fishy scent of a wolf nearby. Following the stream, she reached the end that poured into a large lake, and it was there she spotted something largely unusual. There was a brownish wolf on the edge of the lake.. but she swore she could see some kind of appendages poking out from its fur. But it was not spikes like hers… but fish fins!
Elissa let out a low chuff before making eye contact with the strange wolf, and she carefully slid down the small cliff to join them on the shore. Kelpie quickly puffed her fur to somewhat cover her scaly fins, and barked something in Elissa's direction. "Oh great Dahmahaw, tell me you're not another traveller." She huffed. "Well as a matter of fact I am, Elissa huffed back, voice unbroken. Kelpie sighed. "You're lucky I noticed your unlikely scent before deciding to chase you off our territory! But the Chieftan would have my hide if I had deliberately turned away a traveller. Very well then, come with me, Spikey." Elissa prickled at the sudden nickname, but figured she couldn't take offense from the fish-wolf. The two she-wolves talked the entire walk back about their unusual appearances, and Elissa was ecstatic to find another soul affected by the Cataclysms experienced many moons ago. Perhaps she could trust this similarly firey soul.

Story:
Elissa moved onward, leaving Kelpie and the Salmonstone Pack behind. She headed to the forests, where she suspected cryptids may be hiding. She came to a clearing filled with wolves and she knew she had run into her next pack.
Most of the wolves glanced at her before continuing what they were doing, confusing Elissa. She was a stranger, why not be alert? A wolf with blue swirls padded up to her calmly. "Welcome to the Night Keeper Pack, I'm Shadow that Creeps, but call me Shadow. We've been waiting for y- a wolf like you."
Shadow stuttered over her words at the end and winced at her mix up. "Oh. Well I'm Elissa, a traveller. I'm looking for cryptids, have you seen any?" Shadow smiled. "A traveller looking for cryptids. How interesting! Well, the forest is full of beasts, and the shadows conceal the strange. So I've heard."
Elissa nodded. "Well, can I stay here while I explore your forests?" Shadow smiled and gestured to a cave. "Our travellers stay there. Feel free to make yourself at home."
Elissa stayed in the travellers hollow for a while, exploring every inch of the wild forest. Sometimes she saw Shadows curl and dance, like whisps, and other times the shadows swarmed towards her, covering her paws, then legs, as she scurried away. The forest was scary and shadows seemed to rule the corners.
But shadows can't move on their own. There's another being her, to fuel the shadows movements. But she just couldn't find them. Time flew past way faster than she'd hoped and she'd barely even explored the vast forest surrounding her. Shadow approached her. "It must be time for you to go. I'll lead you to the edge of the forest."
Elissa was thankful for that, afraid if she went alone she'd never find the way out. Shadow picked a rabbit carcass up in her teeth and tossed it over to Elissa. "A gift. Eat it when you can't find food for yourself." Shadow prodded the fur. "Freshly hunted, it won't go bad in a while."
Elissa gratefully accepted the prey and picked it up before padding after Shadow into the forest. After a while the trees broke into grassland. "Goodbye Elissa. It was a pleasure to have you here."
"Bye Shadow. Thank you for letting me explore the forests."
Elissa padded into the long grass, her next adventure on the horizon. Would she find any cryptids where she headed next?
