Biography
Shinunutum was a blind girl who lived in ancient Mesopotamia. In 1661 BCE she began her musical training, as many more must have before her as music was a common path for blind people in that culture. But we know specifically about her because records of her training happened to come down to us. She is named after a small mountain songbird.
