Aubella 🦴💮

Fifth Alpha of Ghul Pack, and it's strictest since founder Alpha Yerv. Aubella vows to follow the founder's creed: Manage your resources. Everyone must have permission to take a mate or have a litter so the pack does not grow too fast. Test new wolves before allowing them to enter. They must have the dreams of past lives which set us apart. Kill foxes and badgers on sight; they are schemers who report the pack's activities to enemies.

Aubella is not aggressive, but his stern demeanor can make him seem unapproachable. He was closer to his critical mother than his adventurous father. Alpha Female Paadja was mother's choice, and the couple get along with a sort of detached affection.

Aubella was born after the Second Troubled Times and took lore-keeper Lahar as a mentor. He considers himself well educated, studying leadership from his mother, human activities from his father, and disaster prediction from his mentor. In his first year of leadership the Troubled Times appeared to be coming back, but he noticed key differences which suggested a new cycle of disasters.

Aubella maintains good connections with pack members he considers most valuable to protecting the pack, but the average wolf tries to stay out of his way. Over time others have risen to minor roles of leadership, filling the social void Aubella was never comfortable enough to maintain.

When he was nearly 6 the strange one obsessed with romance returned. Though he found the event distasteful, he honored grandmother Nawth's teaching and infiltrated the dating scene to spy for enemies of the pack.

Level 7 and beat a level 18 fox on day 1 (1 bone marrow and guarana). Level 10 at 1 year 1 month.
