Grey

Grey loved his pack. He was proud to be the breeding male. There was just one thing he really missed.
Rufous and their experiences together - a foreign traveller that had visited his pack a few times already. They had fallen for each other and even had pups - one of them, Rocky Shore, even became a traveller himself.
Unfortunately, a tragic loss made her unable to return to Grey's territory, so they could not be together as he could not leave his pack.

Shortly after her most recent and final visit, she nearly came back chasing after another traveller from her pack - Menace . She stopped abruptly, talked to the other wolf shortly and left. Watching from the distance, it broke Grey's heart. Will he never see her again?

He felt miserable the following days until the leader Shadow that Creeps talked to him about it. After a long and rather emotional talk, the understanding leader assured Grey that it would be possible for him to take a leave for a while and visit his love. He happily agreed, but still felt guilt for wanting to leave.

With a heavy heart, he said goodbye to his pack a few days later, ready to find Rufous. He followed the last bits left from her scent towards her territory, getting more excited the closer he got.

Before arriving at the den, he was picked up by Snoot, the strangers pack's scout and breeding male. He quickly explained who he was and why he was here and the male understood. He took him to his home - Grey was getting more excited but also nervous.

After some time, they arrived at the den site, where the scout went to tell the leader about the situation. Looking around the area, it took Grey only seconds to spot his lover who was already coming closer - curious about the commotion. He got so damn nervous immediately, but still stepped forward slowly, his eyes growing big at the sight of her. Suddenly, she just ran him over and showered him with kisses. Happily wagging his tail, he told her how he missed her and wanted to see her. He also mentioned that he was allowed to stay away from his pack for a while, so he could visit her. She was overjoyed over the news.

The - now very happy - male stayed for about a month and really enjoyed a loving time with the former traveller. He even got her pregnant again during that time. Before these pups were born though, he knew that it was time to return to his home. They said their loving goodbyes and agreed on meeting each other again and more often.

He had arrived at his home and continued on with his life, enjoying the moments he had with Rufous when they met up and also enjoying the time he could be there for his pack.
