The Wise

This is a small manner in the grand scheme of things. None of us have very long to live so let them be happy.

Shinzu rested atop the rock overseeing his pack, he had lost two mates now and after his last one he had decided it's best to live in the moment. After all, he won't be alive forever. He smiled fondly at his daughter who was walking around the clearing. She had just lost her mate and it was a pain Shinzu knew quite well. Shinzu watched his daughter rushing around, doing their best to keep the pack in order. He was grateful to have her.

On the day of his daughter's due date, he forced himself off of the rock he was usually on and he staggered into the nursery. He saw two pups nursing and his eyes sparkled with delight as he stepped closer.
