Biography
The ash pelted female had never believed in love at first sight. It all seemed too forced, as if some lonesome pup had gazed into the sky and swore that they had a friend that no other wolf could see. Love had to develop, after all that was why love was such a sacred thing. Although there was no denying the general attraction she felt towards that pretty female. At first, she paid no mind to the cream wolf with the unique back marking, something she had never laid eyes on before. After all, a male had been with her and from her experience, she would be chased off to assert dominance.
Much to her surprise however, the light pelted female approached her and tenderly pressed her light brown nose to her own. Her ears pricked, having not expected such a gentle interaction between the two females. Unable to help herself, her tail began to wag as she took a step forward and nuzzled the base of her neck, only to receive the same treatment in return. The exchange lasted for a few minutes before the plain female worked up the courage to speak. "Are you part of a pack..? Would you please let me come with you?" She spoke, a slightly nervous smile resting on her maw.
The stranger's tail only continued to wag as crystal blue eyes seemed to light up like the reflection of the moon on a still lake. "That would be amazing!" She barked, clearly overjoyed with the request. "I'm Zia and that charming wolf back there is Dismas." As she spoke, the almost blue male with bright orange eyes nodded his head with a flirtatious smile. Though, the female hardly paid attention to the obvious act, instead repeating the other's name and allowing it to roll smoothly off of her tongue. "Zia..? I like it. I'm Lux."
There was a small nod from the wolf as she proceeded to talk once more. "We're trying to start up a pack. You're more than welcome to join us, Lux." She felt almost like a pup as her short name was spoken, finding that every word the stranger said sounded an awful lot like the sweetest of songs. "Thank you. I'm sure I can fulfill any role you need." The gray wolf spoke with a soft smile, earning a similar look from the other.

A tired sigh left the ash pelted wolf as she recalled the day she had met the female that she had now fallen in love with. That had been nearly a year ago, if she recalled correctly. Though if asked she would quietly admit that it still felt like yesterday. Since their first meeting, she had stood by her side faithfully; watching as she met knew wolves and settled into her role as leader of the budding pack. The entirety of the way, her feelings only grew for the wise wolf, eventually coming to terms with her attraction. "Are you asleep or just drowning in thoughts?" Spoke a sweet voice, laced with a soft laugh.
Cracking her amber eyes open, she met the site of her infraction with a warm smile. "Thoughts, Zia. Please, sit with me." She welcomed, moving her tail from her side to encourage her to lay down. Being as friendly as ever, the cream-ish female laid down besides her and pressed their figures together to conserve warmth seeing as the sun had finally fallen below the horizon, turning over the sky to it's gentle counter part. "We've already gone through a lot this year." Spoke Zia, earning a gentle nod from her mate as they wove their tails together.
"Thank you, for helping me to lead this pack. I never could have done it without you, Lux." A small smile rested on the female's lips as she spoke, her companion tilting her head until it pressed against her plush scruff. "Thank you for having me. You're the best thing to ever happen to me." A soft, pleased whine came from her as the gray wolf nuzzled into her neck as if to remind herself of her mate's scent.
Sighing quietly, Zia turned her head to rub their cheeks together. No further words were exchanged, simply enjoying each other's company as if it was the last time they would see another. Slowly, their chests swelled and deflated together with deep breaths, an ear occasionally twitching at the fading call of one particularly drowsy bird. Lux's head dropped, eventually finding a comfortable spot on the pale female's forelegs. She smiled, placing a lick to her companion's forehead in the dark before letting her head rest on her soft neck.
