Avalon

Avalon was the first and only pup born to Trifolium. Trifolium had been scared that her curse from the Faelci would transfer itself to her unborn litter but all that seemed to occur was that Avalon was born with strange colours and seemed to have a deep appreciation for nature.

During the lesson: Trifolium explained to Avalon how wet fur is not a good idea, especially in the winter. She demonstrated how to find rocks and dry patches to cross a creek or a river instead of swimming across it. During the lesson: Avalon successfully wiggled out from under Trifolium's paws. Trifolium was very proud, even if later her ankles had to endure excited puppy gnaws.

As Avalon grew into herself, she longed to fulfil the legacy left to her by her mother Trifolium and her grandfather Nivis. She constantly trained with Aysu's guards and the hunting team, even joining Sunspot on his scouting missions. Hemlock was envious of her friend and always begged to join Avalon on her training missions, Avalon finally broke down and agreed to let Hemlock sit in under the condition she didn't over do it and asked for permission from Glacia. Hemlock ran to her and excitedly said she had gotten permission. Avalon was happy for her friend and took her to Ix Chel who was her mentor for the day. Hemlock then strode over and challenged Ix Chel to teach her a hunting manoeuvre, Avalon hissed at her friend asking her what she was doing but Hemlock simply waved her off. Ix Chel did a typical manoeuvre she had done with Avalon hundreds of times before and Avalon had started to open her mouth with tips before Hemlock suddenly screamed, Avalon felt the wind beside her and then saw a snarling Glacia standing over Hemlock with Ix Chel whining in pain on the ground. Avalon was horrified that her mentor had been injured as a result of her friend. Avalon rushed over to her mentor and whined over her, with Chac Chel grooming her fur to try and calm down the young pup. Eventually Glacia came over a small frown about to tell off Ix when she announced that Ix Chel had a broken rib and that she needed to immediately be taken to the herbalist den for treatment.

Ever since the incident Avalon has distanced herself from Hemlock, until Hemlock profoundly apologised for her actions and explained how trapped she had felt. Avalon also apologised and felt awful for not noticing, Avalon decided to lead a sign language session so that Hemlock could communicate with the whole pack.

When Avalon and Hemlock became yearlings, Avalon began to realise that the feelings she had mistaken as friendship towards Hemlock where in fact much stronger. She was very confused and approached Ix to ask what they could mean; Ix smiled at the young wolf and explained that Avalon was in love with Hemlock. Avalon smiled widely at finally being able to name her feelings and rushed out with the hunting party hoping to get Hemlock her favourite prey.

The hunting party returned and Hemlock approached Avalon and asked her to take a walk with her. Avalon was a bit confused but agreed and followed Hemlock to a quiet area where both sat down. Hemlock started to speak about her feelings and how she didn't want that to change their friendship but she simply had to tell her feelings. Avalon barrelled towards the she-wolf giving her a massive hug and a ton of kisses. Hemlock was really confused until Avalon said that she had loved the she-wolf since they where both puppies. Hemlock was overwhelmed with joy and asked her to be mates which Avalon immediately agreed to.
