Akamaru is Kiba's closest friend, always working together back in the village to be the strongest wolf duo- he's the younger of the two, but he still does his best and has surpassed Kiba.
He is extremely quiet, and you can't even notice him in the same cave unless he barks or steps too strongly. This helps him in his hunting trips, though it unsettles the other wolves as they can't discuss plans beforehand.
The only wolf that has heard his voice is Kiba, and he wishes to keep it that way.
