Born beneath a moonlit winter sky, Moonchaser was given her name for her tendency to go stargazing late at night. She was born in a large pack, with well-respected parents, but she was apart of their 3rd litter, with talented and fully-grown siblings stealing much of her attention. She was considered fairly unremarkable, as she was quite average in all things physical. Moonchaser doesn't seem to mind, though, as she was used to being ignored. It wasn't until she met a male named Glacier, who actually showered her in appreciation, that she realized she deserved better. So, she leaves with him, becoming Glacier's best friend. They travel the land together, stopping to rest in the deciduous forest during a bad rainstorm. During the night, however, a frantic, dark wolf comes to their temporary shelter, begging for help. The wolf, called Nightwatcher, had been exiled from his pack for impregnating an outsider. And now, this outsider, named Daisybell, was on the verge of giving birth. They allowed them to stay in a heartbeat, Daisybell safely giving birth to two pups, Umber and Ash. Originally, the idea of staying as a pack didn't click with Moonchaser. That is, until she saw Glacier playing with the pups. That was when she decided to take the role as an alpha, with Glacier as her second in command and the main pupsitter. Daisybell took to hunting, while Nightwatcher became an herbalist. The Wolves of the Willows Pack has grown dramatically since then, with the addition of Moonchaser and Glacier's own pups Dewdrop, Husky and Raindrop. Moonchaser had ensured a casual atmosphere within her pack, as she doesn't see herself as superior to anyone despite her rank. She's humble and dedicated, a simple wolf just like everybody else.
