Nyxa -
The oblivious first herbalist of Delphine Arcane, Nyxa began life as the middle pup in a litter of five. She was often overlooked in favor of the runt and was never as strong as the largest pup in her litter but she had never minded. She was a whimsical sort of she-wolf, the stars lighting her path often as she found beauty in the nature surrounding her pack in the Taiga. Due to overcrowding, she was one of the first dispatched from her motherland and soon wandered aimlessly into different lands before finally settling in the mountains. It was there she had a great and wondrous dream - a great eagle had descended from the skies and perched itself on a rock near her sleeping pace in a well-hidden bush. The bird told her of the coming of a great leader that would need Nyxa's guidance and knowledge of nature to help her pack endure the obstacles ahead. A few days later, Nyxa finally ran into Palisade and as the eagle had foretold, was the new alpha of a budding young pack in the mountains. Nyxa accepted the she-wolf's request for her to join Delphine Arcane and was honored to serve as their herbalist. Known for being a bit of an odd-ball, she found solace amongst her packmates and began growing strong bonds of friendship, even with Eykata who was the grumpiest of the bunch. Now with elder years just ahead, she decided it was high time to find a successor and found Ling amongst the pups in the nursery to be who she felt was right for the job. Like how she found her way to Delphine Arcane, she was guided by the wolves from beyond to select the young she-wolf that would replace her. The most fervent dreamer, Ling was often telling her about her vivid dreams and it only seemed fitting that she, the one who was closest to the stars, would become the next herbalist in her replace. Now accepting her new retirement, Nyxa hopes to foster a little family with Segret and live happily until the end of her days.
