Doguinet (dog-win-it) was chased out of his former pack for being too soft - he often took to caring too much and avoided hunting, hating to take life from another creature. He thrived as more of an omnivore, foraging and scrapping. Because of this, his pack no longer found him useful.
He wandered for a bit, but soon was discovered by Dioute in his explorations. He was offered a place in the pack, but Doguinet originally refused. He told him how he wasn't a fighter, nor a hunter. He was too soft-hearted and too useless. To his surprise, Dioute urged him to join and become a pupsitter. He told Doguinet that he believed that his compassion would be valuable in the raising of the future of Wapiti Run and he wanted him to come back with him.
Doguinet agreed with relief and now is considered one of the most popular of the pupsitters, showing pups how to be kind in a cruel world.
