Biography
⭐️ The first Star Watcher ⭐️
All Whispering Moon could hear was the howls and whimpers of help from her old pack as she raced through the burning forest. Her heart breaking for those she had to leave behind as only moments before she was laying in camp when a sharp smell of smoke broke over the peaceful tribe. She tried to not let her emotions push her to turn back, so she pressed on.
That is until a soft voice started calling out to her causing her to stop for just a moment to catch her breath. She shook her head to clear it as if it were a bird chirping in her ears. When it wouldn't go away, she made up her mind to follow the sound until she found an abandoned clearing with only a single lotus flower in the center glowing, seemingly, all the colors of the rainbow.
Whispering Moon felt herself drawn towards it, so she let her paws take her closer as the whispering grew louder until she pressed her nose against one of the petals and closed her eyes. At first it didn't seem like anything happened until the she-wolf opened her eyes.
Before her was a single wolf, Whispering Moon couldnt make out any markings she would recognize from her old pack. "You have been chosen." The mysterious wolf said taking a single pawstep forward and although Whispering Moon wanted to growl a warning all she could feel was peace and it didn't seem like the spirit wanted to cause her harm.
However she did whimper as the spirit came even closer seemingly unsure as to what to do, however she soon realized she couldn't move even if she wanted to. In the back of her mind all she wanted to do is run, run as far away as possible. "You have been chosen." The wolf repeated as they were just a muzzle length away from Whispering Moon. "I was the last wolf to touch the Lotus and I've been waiting Seasons for another to come along."
The black and white she-wolf wanted to retort and ask what she was chosen for. Just before the wolf pressed their nose to hers and images flashed before her eyes. One of leading a pack of her own, another helping raising pups and so on and so forth. Understanding flashed in Whispering Moons mind and she finally understood what she was supposed to do. "You may come to me for guidance." The spirit continued as it started to fade away, "But know this your old life is no more and you are now named Star Watcher."
Blinking once, she found she was in her body once more and upon looking at the lotus it seemed to turn back into a regular flower as if it waits for another to touch it. "So I'm Star Watcher now?" She muttered as if there was any wolf to listen and looked around the empty camp. "Looks like I got work to do."
Whispering Moon lived her life to the fullest leading her new Tribe through many ups and downs. She passed during the night and her Herblist found her body with a smile upon her face after naming Quiet Wing as the next Star Watcher a few days prior, her nose just a nose-length away from the Lotus.
