Asel

Deciding it time to pave his own path, Asel left behind the life he once new in pursuit of one ambition— to lead his own pack. He was confident in his ability to lead and so was Mellona, a she-wolf that he had been friends with for as long as he could remember.

As they set off together into the deciduous forests, Asel spent many days and many nights telling Mellona his visions for the future. He dreamed of a pack who thrived for generations to come, made up of strong wolves who thrived in all of their endeavors be it hunting or healing and she dreamt it with him.

But to make a name for their pack they would need just that— while Asel had a dream, he had no name for it.

Not until one early summer morning, that is. As he settled down to rest in the warmth of the sun, he turned his gaze skyward toward the tree canopy. It was there that he saw honeycomb, illuminated by the sunlight that refracted through the leaves. It's golden glow reminded him of his companion, who had placed her full faith in him to pursue a hopeful future.

"Goldenglow," Asel spoke the name into existence. "We'll be known as the Goldenglow pack."
