Didelphis is the first ever wolf to be found with an Opossum marking, which happened to be Black Opossum.

I couldn't not get him.

Opossums are marsupials, which are mammals with pouches, and are the only marsupials found in North America.

They also have the most teeth out of any North American mammal, at 50 teeth. Opossums are omnivorous, and their teeth help them scavenge meat from roadkill and other dead animals.

Because of their low body temperature, opossums are naturally resistant to the rabies virus. They also have a natural immunity to many types of snake venom, as well as bee stings and other toxins, and have been seen hunting venomous snakes for food.

Opossums also eat ticks, and they are known to be one of the most efficient predators to them, having been seen picking ticks off of themselves, as well as other animals like deer.

Opossums are normally solitary animals, aside for during mating season, and when a mother is raising her babies, known as kits or joeys. A mother opossum can have up to ~20 babies at a time, though since the mother has only thirteen nipples, not all of them will survive.
