Name roughly translates to "the river is searching for the younger son in the valley."
Early Life:
Born during a severe snowstorm in Vyndmyr's Pass, Syngri is King Kyllikke & Queen Lyconia's youngest son. He was the strongest and healthiest pup from one of the last litter the rulers would have until their death. As the spitting image of his father, King Kyllikke, it was clear Syngri was destined for greatness. He was cared for by the royal pupsitter, Quellon of Elquul, and raised in Lyfjaberg to the highest standard worthy of a prince. Syngri enjoyed school and was excited for a career as the most esteemed Kynsguard - a position which his mother, Queen Lyconia, was proud to pass on. Syngri was raised well, got along well with other packmates, and did not exhibit any behaviors that would bring dishonor to himself or the Ava'al clan.
Adulthood:
Despite Syngri's physical appearance being so much like his fathers, he grew up to be more like his older brother and fellow Kynsguard, Étgudach, whom he desired to emulate. Soon after becoming a member of the Kynsguard himself, Syngri met and fell in love with a rescued she-wolf, Tanah'ope.
During the event known as The Kidnapping of Aislinn and the Cataclysms that followed, Syngri became the ideal soldier - obedient, efficient and courageous. He is one of Yliaster's swiftest wolves, capable of hunting in tricky and mountainous terrains. He is the pride of his royal parents and Yliaster as a whole. Many who were close to the late king find comfort in beholding Syngri's likeness to him. This used to annoy Syngri, due to his youthful desire for individuality, but he witnessed first-hand the effect this likeness had on his packmates when the Cataclysms hit, and decided to embrace his identity as Kyllikke reborn.
