Biography
She has two daughters, one who made her queen by becoming the heir, and the other whom she hates. Malaee has never been enough for her, and Malaee's failure to produce Melainism pups despite being a carrier has only made their relationship more strained.
Sundar sees her mate as a fact of life, but not really a friend or confidant. She sees it as her duty to be a good queen to the pack as long as Raaja is alive, and shuts down anyone who comes to talk to her about their worries. She turns a blind eye to Raaja's decaying sanity.
She despises Aanand for being a royal. She feels that Raaja betrayed her when he let Aanand become royal. Aanand's mother, Leara, is also hated by Sundar. Sundar feels that only her children and grandchildren should be allowed to become royals, and feels nothing but contempt for Aadha and her children. She seems them as lesser because they became royals for their markings.
However, as she reached the end of her life she began to feel she had made a mistake. She reconnected with Malaee and finally truly welcomed Anaand. She feels she should have been a better mother during her life, and regrets that she could only see past her dedication to Raaja when it was nearly too late.
She watches her children from the heavens, hoping that they will not fall into the same trap she did, and that they won't be filled with the same regret and longing that she is.
