She hails from a distant land, it is a mystery how she got here. The piebald unearthly maiden showed up out of nowhere, requesting shelter one winter evening. Nephele was covered in snow and frostbitten, she nearly lost some of her toes as a result. The path to recovery was hard but eventually, she joined Solveig, Coyote, and Gunnar as a hunter.
As time continued her feelings for Coyote blossomed, and she enjoyed the pessimistic wolf's company. After their courtship, Bracken disappeared and a new leader took his place, Saga. Nephele is still unsure of the new leader but harbors no ill-will toward the maiden. What came next shocked her. Saga requested her to become the new Beta, at least until she was able to find a mate.
