Daughter and Heir of Othello Caelestis
Finisher
"We cannot become what we want by remaining what we are."
Headstrong, but dedicated to her pack, Nadia wasn't surprised when her father chose her to succeed him. It was the obvious choice, after all. She was born when the pack was still new, her mother had been a loner and had left shortly after Nadia had been born. Nadia held no hurt feelings towards her mother and didn't particularly care whether she ever bumped into her again. She cared only for her pack. She hunted for her pack, fought for her pack, and chose her mate for the benefit of the pack. Unfortunately, none of their pups survived to adulthood, but she had the bitterwseet joy of watching her sisters' pups grow up.
Othello had led the fledgling pack to a vast, wide prairie from their original homeland in a quaint little forest. Nadia had no qualms with her father's decision, but she was in charge now. The pack had grown in the last years leading up to her father's passing, and Nadia had noticed the wildlife in the once prey-rich territory was now dwindling. Rather than letting the prairie fall into famine and lead her pack into starvation, Nadia decided to converse with the elders and decided to prepare for the journey up into the mountains.
She knew it would be dangerous but worth the risk. It would be better defensible and hopefully the hunting parties would have better luck.
