s: Tawny Ull Vulcan

Perhaps Lumi was too diligent about telling her pups what a brave king they were born from. The four of them grew up amidst a sea of other puppies both native to the tribe and not, subtle hints telling them that they would not always stay there.

It was supposed to be her sister, Marin, who would remain with their mother.  Tawny had always been a stubborn thing, but as the official news came about that she was to leave, she became terribly jealous of her sister. She threw herself at Marin and she badly hit her head against a rock, causing a scene in front of the nobles of an allied pact clan.

Mortified over the scene and unable to burden them with a clearly unstable pup, Lumi was made to keep Tawny under her discipline while Marin was sent to a different group. Still, Tawny got what she wanted. She appears to feel no remorse for her actions and insists to the outsiders of the group that Marin was weak.

Pair-bonded with the tribe's original herbalist, Ursa Jin, endeared to her sneaky tendencies and the brutality of medicine. They adopted a pair of pups together and jointly reared the pups they each whelped. Tawny was only in her sixth year when Ursa passed in the night, leaving the entire family to mourn her absence.
