Biography
Born deaf to two melanistic parents, the small black pup was given to the Enclave before he was even given a name. His adopted parents gave him the name Melchior, teaching him to communicate through body language, scratches in the dirt and basic noises. When they were both killed by a bear, Kyerra, a scout of Fenrir's Fallen, found him huddled away in a cave, white eyes transfixed on his dead parents' bodies. Kyerra guided the pup back to his alpha, Aarmal, who quickly realised his disability. She learnt to understand his signals, and the little pup, once comfortable, broke out of his shell and began to get along with the other pups in the pack, easily communicating despite not talking or hearing. Aarmal took an instant liking to the young deaf puppy, and she took him under her wing, the two forming a close bond.
When he was four months old, he had a vivid dream, scrambling and crying out in the dead of night, a single word being repeated, despite him never hearing or learning a word in his life: Fenrir! Fenrir! Aarmal immediately began questioning him through their mutually understood language. She soon realised that the God she had been seeking her whole life was speaking through the little pup, calling out to him through a mental connection. He managed to tell Aarmal one critical thing: whatever he saw in the vision of Fenrir, he saw a forest in the background. Aarmal immediately decided to move the pack as soon as she could, in hopes of finding her God and fulfilling the prophecy that she devoted her entire existence to.

Trivia
- Melchior isn't actually deaf, although some wolves in Wolvden can get a random secondary mutation upon birth that renders them deaf. For lore and plot purposes, I made him deaf.
- Both his birth parents are melanistic, and both their names start with an M!
- He was initially adopted from the Enclave, but I acquired him from a giveaway as a starter stud
- Besides being melanistic, he isn't all that special in terms of Wolvden standards. However, for no particular reason, he's my favourite puppy :)
