Aanand

One of the few children that Raaja allowed to become royalty. Her mother was not favored by Raaja, so she wonders why she was even allowed to get this far. She is happy, for the sake of her children, but wonders when her father's favor will disappear and she will have to deal with his rage and abandonment again. She tries to have a good relationship with her half-siblings, except for Oke, who seems determined to sabotage every relationship.
She fears for the future of the pack if her nephew really becomes Alpha. While Vaaris is capable, she believes her father's madness will eventually show itself in his offspring, and believes that the pack cannot handle another unstable leader.
Secretly, she wishes for her father's death, to at least free her pack from his mental instability. Even if it doesn't help in the long run, it would grant a measure of safety for her and her children if he was no longer alive. But, she worries that if Raaja dies before Vaaris is fully of age, Oke will try and take the throne for herself.
She works with her half-siblings, the leader among them. Oke is despised by all of her siblings, while Aanand is favored, widening the rift between them. She wishes that their family could be normal, but knows that as long as her father lives, Oke will let Saathin whisper in her ear, telling her that only she is fit to rule. Maybe one day they could be a real family. She envies Chhaaya and Baaz for their easy love and their perfect children. She sometimes wishes she had never been born.
