The first tragic death of a pup in the Seasons Unending pack, the pup who died before her naming day is now known as Starchild: She who guides the deceased wolves--especially fellow pups--to the great field of starlight. The eternal hunting grounds. She is a source of comfort to wolves young and old, who might otherwise be scared of what lies beyond. Her brother, who survived without her, is said to speak for her in the living world. He and his descendants hold a special place in the pack, for they connect the realms of the spirits and the living.
Will sometimes appear as a strange, bipedal wolf-creature to scare off those who might bring harm to the spiritual hunting grounds of the pack.
