Yöpakkanen

Yöpakkanen was dedicated female, who wanted only best for her family and pack. Yöpakkanen was very good hunter, at first she started as chaser but step by step she became pack’s best finisher. 

Yöpakkanen was wandering around the mountains when she met Jäälaulu, who just had claimed her territory from that area. Unlike most of wolves that Yöpakkanen had met before, Jäälaulu invated her to live with newly formed pack called Riitepolun lauma. pack was rather small at that time, only 4 males and Jäälaulu as the only female. At first Yöpakkanen wasn’t so sure should she stay or not but eventually she decided to stay as one of the pack’s hunters. Yöpakkanen also founded her own family after she was settled to Riitepolun lauma permanently. She is very close to her first born daughter Helvil, but as she got older and older Yöpakkanen was unsure if Helvil could take the task of being respectable matriarch to family that she herself have founded. So Yöpakkanen decided to get pregnant one more time, but to different male then Helvil’s father. She gave birth to two pups and was more than delight to have another daughter, Ivoriel, who will eventually take her mothers place as matriarch.  

At her final, last night Yöpakkanen wished from her daughter Ivoriel and pack leader Jäälaulu that she would be burried to the Prairie. After her last breath Ivoriel and Jäälaulu honored her will and burried her to Prairie with other packmembers.
