First Pack: The Shadow Slayers
Décor Added: Grouse Feather
Lore: MudRiver hated her life. She hated everything about everyone and it was all just awful! She hated how she was shamed upon for being born from a prisoner. So one day she decided to pack up and leave. She didn't say goodbye and she never planned to ever see anyone's face again.
Second Pack: Starshade Pack
Décor Added: Dwarf Crested Iris
Lore: MudRiver walked far and fast. She wanted nothing to do with her previous pack. Though she hardly considered them her family. She hardly considered them her pack. She had walked nonstop for nearly two days and realized she was exhausting herself and needed to rest. She had found herself in a large deciduous forest, surrounded by lush trees. The sun had begun to set and as it was going down, she realized just how tired she was. She stumbled into the trees, intending to find a small shelter where she could rest for a few nights. As she walked further in, a blue spectral mist seemed to shroud the area. Great, I made myself so tired I'm starting to hallucinate, she thought to herself. When she looked up next, there was a wolf standing before her, beige fur tipped with blue that seemed to glow with the wolf's energy. The wolf's eyes glowed and tentacles seemed to dangle off its fur and tail. What kind of hallucination is this?
"Hello. Are you new to these woods? I love meeting travelers," the wolf spoke in a voice that sounded to echo.
MudRiver looked startled, blinking and shaking her head. "I'm sorry, but, are you… real?" She asked incredulously.
"I am. My name is Faylan. I roam these woods at night. It's my favorite time to visit the mortal plane," Faylan said. M-mortal plane??
"What are you?" MudRiver questioned, thoroughly confused.
"I am a cyntharian wolf from the lunar plane. You'll see many lunar creatures come to visit this place at night. These woods have very strong spectral energy and so when lunar creatures come to roam the mortal plane, they come here where the energy is richest. You look in need of rest. There is a pack that lives in the heart of these woods. They will gladly take in a traveler such as yourself," Faylan said.
MudRiver nodded. "A place to stay would be nice, thank you." Finally. A place where no one will judge me for my past because they won't know any of my past.
"Good. Follow me," Faylan said, walking deeper into the woods. MudRiver followed happily, finding the trees growing taller and thicker the further she went. She finally saw another wolf ahead of Faylan, a large male.
"Faylan, what brings you here?" The male asked.
"Jordane, I bring a traveler with me. She seems to have quite a lot of strength for a young one. You should consider teaching her some of what it takes to be a finisher while she's here. Just a thought," Faylan said. And suddenly, without another word, she dashed away into the trees, gone. MudRiver noticed that the wolf named Jordane's coat seemed to glow softly even in the dark.
"What's your name, young one? As you heard, I'm Jordane, a finisher for the Starshade Pack. If you'd like a place to stay, come with me. Your physique does speak to the promise of a finisher, so I'll give you some lessons in closing in on prey and giving a final blow with the aid of your team," Jordane said happily, turning into the trees where many wolves mingled and talked and played.
"I'm MudRiver. Thank you for giving me a place to stay. I think it'll be fun!"

decor added : white oak sappling
lore : MudRiver traveled into the mountains to spend some time with the Noel Winter Eve pack. even though she she is unsure how the pack will treat her. the pack welcome her into their pack. mudriver decided to become a pup sitter for the pack , because she knows and understands that pups are the future of the pack. when she went into heat she ask Sweet Heaven if it was oaky if she breed with the breeding male of the pack. she did this to respect the pack she is staying with, and if she ever joins them again in the future she wants the pack to remember that she respected the pack rules. Sweet Heaven who is the alpha of the pack at the time says that is fine; please make sure it is okay with Pink Wings. Pink wings is the breeding male of the pack ; when MudRiver came to visit. Pink Wings is very happy to breed with Mudriver. after about four days MudRiver gave birth to four pups. Mudriver will continue her journey after her pups are weaned.
Pack: Adolphous
Name and ID: Blackwidow #43418
Decor added: Northern Red Oak Sapling. Cliff Swallowtail
Lore: Mudriver continued through the mountains happening upon her next pack. Adolphus pack. She was met by Luibheoir at the border of the pack. Luibheoir explained how he was the herbalist of the pack and was foraging to restock the cave. "Are you a traveler? We love having travelers pass through here! We actually have a few with us right now! Come on!" Luibheoir was a bit excited to show off his pack. Mudriver nodded and happily followed.
She greeted some of the pack when she entered and enjoyed telling her tales with the pack. She was a bit shy that there wasn't very many and Odette their former traveler gave a soft chuckle. "Do not worry young one. We still enjoy hearing your stories. Look at the pups and how much they enjoy it as well." Mudriver nodded and smiled. Finally after a few days it was time for her to move on. She bid her farewells and left to continue her explorations.
Pack: Northgardian Pack
Décor Added: Overgrown Arches bg
Lore: "Are you lost, youn' lass?" a strange voiced echoed in MudRiver's ears one day. Fur bristling, she turned around and saw a scruffy, ginger-and-white male wolf. Mazes of scars criss-crossed his frame and a small, spindly creature cowered at his paws, tilting its cat-like head from side to side. The stranger peered at her from his one good eye, his expression glowing with a mixture of amusement and curiosity. MudRiver emitted a low snarl, ears flattening to the back of her head.
"Who are you?" she growled, albeit the foreigner did not seem threatened in the slightest.
"Aye, easy there," he lowered his head ever so slightly, "name's Striker, of the Northgardian Pack."
MudRiver returned the brief introduction, mentioning that she is a traveler looking for a place to say, to which the scarred canine huffed: "Thought so."
Striker offered her to follow him to his pack, and spend there a few days. Although hesitant and skeptical at first, MudRiver agreed. After all, she had not eaten in a while and the idea of spending time with other wolves again seemed more than enticing. Therefore, the ginger wolf beckoned her to trudge in his pawsteps. And indeed, he kept his promise when he led her to the camp of the Northgardian wolves located deep in the Taiga.
Upon arrival, she was greeted by the leader, an elegant she-wolf by the name of Freya, who invited her to make herself at home. Striker showed her the cave where she would be staying: a special den for travelers like her; referred to as the Travel's Song. Much to her surprise, Striker also tended to dwell in this cave and look after any wanderer stopping by, sharing tales and legends with them until they chose to depart.
Over time, MudRiver grew used to Striker's constant nagging. His engaging stories caught her interested, making her feel like a small puppy again. Every day, he had a new one to share! He even gave her some tips and advice for her next travels, that she gladly took to her when her time to leave arrived.
6th Pack: The Galactic Ones (#26993)
Decor Added: None.
Lore: MudRiver was strolling through the snowy fields at night in the grasslands. It was rather chilly, and she wanted to seek refuge within the cluster of cedar trees ahead. Before she got any closer, she sniffed ahead to see if anything was lurking from behind the treeline. Wolves. And lots of them. MudRiver decided not to take the risk, figuring it was a pack of wolves that lived in the tree cluster.
Upon turning around to leave, she saw a dark pelted wolf bounding towards her. Their fur stuck out like a sore thumb in the snowy landscape, even though it was nighttime. MudRiver braced herself for an attack, but the wolf stopped just a few feet away. They gave her a slight tail wag, approaching with a lowered head.
"Greetings, stranger. You are in The Galactic Ones territory," she spoke in a calm yet assertive tone. "I'm sorry, I didn't know.." MudRiver apologized, getting ready to leave. The shewolf, however, responded with a chuckle. "Our pack is welcoming to wonderers of all kinds. You are free to stay if you wish," she said with a smile, and River let out a sigh of relief. "Thank you," the brown pelted shewolf bowed her head in gratitude.
"I'm Night, by the way. What's your name?"
"It's MudRiver. Thanks again for letting me stay here!"
"You are very welcome, MudRiver."
From there, Night guided River to the cedar tree cluster, introducing her to the pack alpha as well as a few other wolves who were awake at the time. After a few minutes of introductions, MudRiver was shown to a cave where she could sleep in during her stay. From that night forward, MudRiver made a new friend in the pack.
pack : Starshade Pack
decor added : Red Oak Branch [Green]
lore : MudRiver recognized the sights and smells of the deciduous forest before her. The first pack she had visited, the Starshade Pack, lay before her. Excitedly she ran ahead to the pack den in the heart of the forest, taking in the calm atmosphere of the summer.
Her friend Jordane came up to greet her, panting from having just finished a hunt. He was happy to see she was well and still traveling. She was delighted to meet him again as well.
She stayed up late that night, watching the lunar creatures travel through the forest amidst the gentle blue mist. The calming familiarity of the area made her feel at home and at peace as she spent her time looking after pups in the pack.
8th Pack: The Luminous Stars
Décor Added: Cross Fox Kits
Lore:
Pack: BloodNight Pack
Décor Added: n/a
Lore: n/a
Pack: Winterset Pack
Décor Added: -
Lore: MudRiver found herself sharing the trail with another wolf, he had introduced himself as Faer and he had been a traveler like her. But now he was on his way home, age beginning to grey his muzzle and weaken his joints. She had offered to accompany him, figuring that she could then rest at the pack for a couple days. The pair soon reached a mountain range, Faer continued without hesitation, warning her of the looser stones as they climbed. He told her about his pack as they walked, his parents who founded the pack, the siblings who stayed and became hunters, it was strange to hear a traveler speak so fondly of their home when they spent their life traveling away from it.
When the two reached the Winterset Pack's home Faer split off from her, MudRiver assuming he was looking for his family. She was greeted by the Lead Wolf, Eria, who paused in her duties just long enough to direct her to the den that the pack scouts shared with travelers.
Her stay with the pack was mostly uneventful, she stayed long enough to wean a litter before deciding it was time to go again. Faer walked her to the edge of the mountains.
"I wish you well in your journey" he tells her, "This pack is different from the one I left, but I am glad I got the chance to see home again." His words stuck with her as they parted ways, but she had left home in shame and hate, and she doubted it had changed much.
Pack: Spirit's Heaven
Décor Added: Owl Talon Necklace
Lore: MudRiver, an aging she-wolf adorned with a coat that carried the stories of countless moons, encountered the Spirit's Heaven pack during her solitary journey. Captivated by their youthful exuberance, MudRiver chose to stay and weave her lifetime of wisdom into the fabric of the pack.
Though seasoned in years, MudRiver embraced the chance to learn from the agile and spirited members of the Spirit's Heaven pack. Her experience blended seamlessly with their vibrant approach to survival, creating a harmonious exchange of skills and knowledge.
As seasons changed, MudRiver found solace in the company of the pack. The bonds forged were not hindered by age but strengthened by the diversity of perspectives. She imparted lessons learned through time, and in return, absorbed the energy and enthusiasm of her younger companions.
Yet, as nature dictated, MudRiver knew her time with the Spirit's Heaven oack was finite. With a heart brimming with gratitude, she departed, leaving behind a legacy of shared wisdom.
Pack: HarvestMoon
Décor Added: None
Lore: "As a sign of respect for our elders, you may of course join us." Autumn slowly paced over to MudRiver, scrutinizing the outsider. "You have gained enough insight and knowledge on your long journey, welcome to my HarvestMoon."
MudRiver knew this might be her last journey, her teeth were no longer as sharp. For wolves, six years old was already a step into old age. She remembers how she was bullied and discriminated against when she was younger because of her birth, but it's not as clear as it could be - not that she's aged to the point where her memories are fuzzy, but that the moments of being shamed have been insignificant in her long life.
