Every couple of days there is a large trade that goes down where all wolves gather who wish to leave their pack and on this day, Blazestar was looking for a wolf who could lead scouts to new areas. Blazestar's eyes were immediately caught by one wolf' and knew this was the one.
Bluepelt had trouble with his past pack, and was originally assigned as a hunter, however his scatter-brainedness caused the chasers to loose track of the prey pretty frequently, which frustrated him. Blazestar took him on and assigned him lead scout, where he unlocked restricted areas and designated that the Deciduous Forest would be the next home for Peakriver Pack. While his scatter-brain might be a hinderance, Blazestar always found it charming in the aging wolf and now Bluepelt is living his last days safely within the borders of the pack, soaking up the sun and letting the wind go through his fur.
