Rapid

One of the pups found for the purpose of fulfilling the mission to find pups before Rime reached the glacier. She was found in the Riparian Forest, where Polar had managed to recover her from the rushing river.

Rapid would be found dead only a few weeks after she'd been brought into the pack, having choked on a raw bone. What the wolves of Rime don't know, was that this pup had been murdered, by none on than Rime's own Smoke.

Smoke had met with Rapid's previous pack and learned that they were still looking for their lost pup. In order to fulfill the Wolf of Flame's agenda of destroying Rime, Smoke had sought to convince this pack that Rime had not only kidnapped Rapid, but had just killed her in cold blood. Thus, he would gain the support of an entirely different pack who would, in their rage, chose to wage war against Rime. As of right now, Current, who was Rapid's pet sitter in her old pack, has chosen to follow Smoke in the cause of the Wolf of Flame, in an attempt to avoid suffering shame for Rapid's loss. With him, Smoke hopes that he can sway the rest of Current's pack to subject to the Wolf of Flame.

However, there is one who yet speaks for Rapid and the truth regarding her fate. Fir, another one of the adopted pups, had seen what Smoke had done to Rapid. Unfortunately, Smoke is aware, and he's keeping a close, dangerous eye on Fir as she seeks an opportunity to expose him.
