Lifetime Events

Willow, along with Angel Starveil, left their original pack in search of a territory to call their own. This search was long and difficult, but from the moment they came across the Shimmering Lake, they just knew this was the right place for them to set up camp and stay, even if only for a short while.

They soon discovered that this area made them feel so much more connected to the moon hanging above them, and this is where the Legends of Mooncrest started. Stories, long forgotten, came to the two wolves in their dreams, and they would relay all that they could remember to whatever wandering wolves were willing to stay and listen.

Due to Willow being the leader of the pack, she had a bit more connection than the rest, which granted her the ability to tap into the powers of the Moon, should she need to use them, and also visit the Lunar Realm any time she wished. This realm was believed to be some form of afterlife, and all of its inhabitants were the ancestors of those who visited.

While pregnant with Quill's litter, Willow spent most of her dreams wandering through the lunar realm, with no real goal in mind other than hoping this action would strengthen her pup's own connections. Once they were born, it seemed to work - Quill looked almost nothing like the rest of their family, clearly expressing traits that anyone has only seen on wolves within the lunar realm.

Willow's death was not long on the horizon, and she took up training Quill as a successor personally, encouraging them to have confidence in their abilities and be a kind and patient leader.
