Maple was born in Darkvalley Pack to Embers and an outside male wolf. Since puphood, she has trained hard to become one of the Pack's top Hunters, soon showing herself as a worthy chaser. She grew up alongside Void, often training with him in her youth, and also looked up to Atlas, a wolf a bit older than her, as a sort of older brother and mentor figure. Maple and Atlas are in the same hunting party and remain close huntmates. As a young Hunter, she began to develop feelings for Vulcan, a young and newly appointed Scout at the time. Vulcan reciprocated the feelings and the two became mates not long after.

Maple is known to be prone to starting and spreading gossip, always attentive to whatever hearsay is being spread around by petty Pack members about the newest manufactured pack drama happening this moon. This is much to the dismay of most Pack members, so she often holds her tongue around the wolves she knows wouldn't approve of it. Despite her penchant for pointless drama and having a bit of a mean streak, she still upholds her image as a commendable Hunter and is genuinely concerned with the greater good of the Pack.
