As Asuvect entered the clearing she saw a pup stare up at her, wide-eyed. "Woah! It's a badger!" He exclaimed. She gave an amused chuckle as she looked down at him. "Indeed I am! And you must be the fearsome leader of this pack!" She laughed along, playing his game. The pup puffed out his chest. "I wish! But no, my names Moose! I'm gonna be a scout one day! In fact, I'm training to be one." He said proudly.
After awhile, Asuvect was expecting pups so she was moved into the nursery. There she conversed with the other mother's and watched the pups play.

After many days of traveling, Asuvect was exhausted. It had been a long time since she had rested and gotten a good meal. She wandered through the forest, head raised and nose sniffing. Eventually, she picked up a scent; it was very faint, but it smelled like wolves! Asuvect took off at a run. All she could hear was the wind rushing in her ears as her paws pounded against the earth. She used her last bit of energy to run and found herself in the territory of a pack known as Comet's Cove. Her legs collapsed beneath her and she fell, taking great gulps of air to catch her breath. All that running and a lack of food made her lightheaded. Asuvect laid her head down and let her eyelids droop.
When she awoke, she found herself in a den that reeked of herbs. A very annoyed herbalist was arguing with a large gray wolf. The gray wolf stopped the herbalist and looked down at her. "Ah, you're awake. How did you end up here in the first place? My scouts found you unconscious right near our border." Asuvect blinked, looking around. Confused, she finally spoke up. "I'm a traveler, I've.. been traveling for days. I was just so exhausted, and-" The herbalist cut her off. "Maybe go somewhere else to pass out then, I can't believe I'm wasting my herbs on you." He bared his teeth and flattened his ears. "Taiga, enough. She needs help." The gray wolf ordered with a growl. The herbalist, who Asuvect now knew as Taiga, wrinkled his nose and sat down with a loud huff. "Sorry about that." The wolf lowered his head. Asuvect smiled. "It's okay. I've dealt with worse." The gray wolf then cleared his throat and continued speaking. "Well... you've entered my pack's territory. We're known as Comet's Cove. I'm the leader, Comet." Comet grinned with a wag of his tail. "You can stay as long as you'd like, I can go fetch you something to eat. Feel free to rest up in here." Comet trotted out before Taiga could argue about the strange wolf in his den. He growled and looked back at her. "If you're gonna take up space in my den you might as well tell me your name." The herbalist narrowed his eyes. "Oh, it's Asuvect." She replied quickly, not wanting to anger him further. Taiga snorted. "Odd name.. well, if you're staying you'd better stay out of my den unless you need healing. Don't listen to Comet telling you to stay here as long as you want, I'm gonna kick you out anyway." Asuvect couldn't help but chuckle under her breath. "Alright. I'll be out after I eat." The herbalist just grumbled and turned his back, organizing his stock of herbs.
