Dovethorn encountered a young Blazestar during his travels in the mountains and he spoke to her about his pack that he was slowly forming in the rolling hills of Peakriver. Dovethorn immediately recognized that he would need a strong hunter to become part of a successful hunting team. She was always obnoxious in the pack and acted like an unforgiving grandma whenever she was with the pups, however each pup grew to love and respect her. She is a strong finisher and quickly rose through the ranks and is now one of Blazestar's senior advisors. She has had many pups, however they all left the pack eventually, leaving only Acornspeck. Dovethorn loved Acornspeck from afar, keeping her main interest on perfecting her hunting skills, and the two have a close bond to this day. Dovethorn's work ethic will live on in the pack for many generations to come.
