03.09.2023. Homeland, Pack "Beholders Tower" owned by AstralDog #89466
From birth, Nellie was distinguished by her romantic, imaginative nature. Despite the fact that the mad prophet predicted a short and aimless life for her, she was ready to challenge fate. Not wanting to waste time cultivating future adepts of the Great Beholder Sect, she volunteered to become an observer traveler. Having received the Leader's blessing, Nellie set out on her journey, becoming "the eyes" of her pack. Who knows, maybe she will be able to ignite the hearts of other wolves and make them glorify the Great Beholder?
Nellie Bly left Beholders Tower 16.10.2023
16.10.2023. Pack "DreadfullTimes" owned by Corgiesta #66730
Nellie Bly has arrived to her new pack - DreadfulTimes. This pack was chosen for a reason. Leaders of both packs were close. They weren't friends, more like allies. Despite Autumn's refusial to participate in becoming a "part" of the Tower, Biopsychosis, Nellie's father and the leader, respected Autumn's decision and continued maintainins trusting relationships between their packs.
Having a deep respect towards her father and leader, Nellie Bly was curious about her father's trusted allie. After she arrived to Autumn's pack, she soon understood, why her Father tolerated and even respected another wolf. Nellie was met warmly. She was gifted by [Heather Crown] and [Dear Elk Heart] and was given a comfortable den to stay as long as she wishes. During her stay she kept lurking near the leader and his children and most trusted friends, eager to know about them more.
She quickly found a common ground with Autumn and soon enough she decided to gift him the part of herself as a sign of gratitude and part of the Tower. Two pups, descendants of the Great Beholder were born.

● Lore (optional):
She decided to change her plan and headed towards the pine forest nearby. The trees provided safety from the freezing wind, and if she got lucky she would find some critter that also sought shelter. Unfortunately for her, she did not get lucky. Instead, she decided to stay in the burrow a bit and rest, doubting yet again her journey and cursing the harsh weather of Taiga in her thoughts.
Just when she was about to fall asleep, she heard a low growl. Her ears perked up and she raised her head to look around. Her ear twitched at the sound of barking, pitched higher than that of a wolf. She looked in that direction and saw a badger, snarling defensively at a huge, rather unusual looking wolf. Now, she was used to seeing unique wolves — in fact, she herself looked rather unique. Something felt off about this one, though. His eyes were emiting a teal glow, that seemed weirdly calming given his defensive pose and intimidating presence. She looked at his antlers and weird fur markings with curiosity, but quickly got distracted by his sudden attack.
The badger, as viscious as it was, did not stand a chance against the wolf. The fight finished quickly and the wolf inspected the badger's body precisely, before lowering his ears and sighing with disappointment. It seemed as if just then the curious gaze of Nellie caught his attention, because now the teal eyes were pointed at her. This time, though, there weren't any signs of hostility in them. Only curiosity, calmness, and a hint of worry.
That's how she met Xirian — the leader of Serene Wanderers. He turned out to be a quite charming wolf, and she quickly became fond of his reliable attitude. He seemed to be a good pack leader — although, if she was to be honest, he was a little bit too serious for her liking. Nonetheless, he explained to her that he was exploring these lands because he was hunting for a certain list of battle trophies, but his pack was located in Tundra. She wasn't exactly thrilled at the thought of going even further north, but he offered her shelter and she could not refuse. Besides, there was something calming about his presence. For some reason she knew she could trust him.
They both trotted off to Tundra, which turned out to be beautiful, even in winter. It was very different from her homeland, which piqued her curiosity. During their travel Xirian told her about these lands, and the stories, brought to life with her imagination, made the journey enjoyable despite the cold.
Xirian didn't have to announce her that they have arrived in his territory. She could feel it. The energy was vastly different now than just a few minutes ago. It was calming, warm, and seemed to promise taking good care of her, just like Xirian did.
The snow was slowly fading away when they got closer to the pack's dens. She could see some weird, magical lights flickering in the air around them. She poked one with her nose, but it did not move, like it was frozen in place. As if the weird energy she felt was making everything here eternal; serene for millenias to come.
She asked Xirian about it, and he explained to her that their pack was protected by fate. He explained that this weirdly comforting energy she feels was bestowed upon him when he was still a yearling. He was deathly ill and his old pack abandoned him when they thought him to be dead, but the fate decided to give him another chance. It took care of him and brought him back to good health, and its power, running through his veins, made it possible for him to create such a warm and comforting place in biome as harsh as this. She was mesmerised by the story and wanted to know more, but unfortunately her presence aready got noticed by other pack members. And when she finished answering their questions, Xirian was already gone, leaving her in paws of his pack members.
These few months were exactly what she needed — she was offered a warm cave that she was sharing with another rather peculiar looking wolves, like Aclus, of whom she grew fond of. He was the previous herbalist and Xirian's right hand, and he was eager to tell her more about their pack and his own story. He was a great companion during her stay, and his charming compliments often made her day.
For a moment there she almost forgot the goal of her journey. She was supposed to try and make other packs glorify the Great Beholder. That's why she went to Xirian again, both to announce her departure, and to tell him about the Beholder's Tower. She did not expect much, though — Xirian seemed unmovable, and now that she knew him a little bit more she was expecting the very thing that happened — his refusal.
He expressed his respect for the Great Beholder, but explained that his pack's life is in the hands of fate. Rejecting it would be catastrophic for them all, and he's able to stand before her only because it showed him mercy. She was still a little bit disappointed, even though she knew that would happen. It seemed that it will take much longer than she thought before she will be able to find a pack that will be willing to glorify the Great Beholder...
Her gloomy mood must have been very apparent, because Aclus nudged her shoulder just as she was supposed to depart. He seemed to appear out of nowhere, but her attention was quickly drawn to something else — a bunch of petals that he brought with him. With the charming smirk of his, he explained that their gentle and positive energy was almost as pleasant as her. She giggled at the compliment and wagged her tail, instantly in much better mood.
The petals kept her company — the wind seemed to keep them close to her at all times, reminding her of her stay at Serene Wanderers' pack. With newly gained energy, she trotted off to another territory, much more hopeful and motivated.

Soon enough the two were on their way back to the pack's home, having fallen into silence a little ways back. Eria pauses and turns to Nellie. "You hold much respect for this Beholder that you were telling me about." She starts, "I think one thing almost all packs can agree upon is that the foundings of our packs and the beliefs we hold because of these tales are some of the most important things to us."
Once settled in the pack Nellie saw very little of the lead wolf, she was always busy, rarely stopping by the dens for anything other than required rest. Nellie soon learned from the elders the beliefs the Winterset Pack followed, how the lead wolf herself was made of snow and brought to life by the moon or how the winds whispered secrets and prophecies to the elders and herbalists.
She decided to raise a litter with the pack, curious of the way the wolves shared their history and hoping that leaving a part of the Tower behind may aid in her missions of spreading the message of the Great Beholder. Eria met her again to see her off, wishing her well on her travels. Nellie braved the path of a lone traveler once more, trying to imagine what other strange tales she would learn from the packs ahead of her.

Lore (optional) :
'who are you' the wolf growled, his fur was the color of a fox's, but it was marred with black and covered in scars. Nellie bly looked up at the wolfs snarling face, turning her snout up at him and explaining why she was here, she started to speak about the great beholder and his glory, but the fox looking wolf just huffed and told her that her 'great beholder' speech wouldn't sway him or his pack. Nellie bly felt a little defeated that she was struggling to find packs that would listen, but she decided to keep trying with this pack no matter what this wolf said. The fox looking wolf let out a sigh and turned to walk away, 'follow me' he huffed, not giving her a chance to respond before walking away.
the pair of wolves ended up at a clearing surrounded by mangroves, mangroves that were still alive. the clearing was littered with some tunnels going through the roots of the mangroves, and a few make-shift dens where near the other side of the clearing. another large wolf came up to them and pulled Eimear, that was the fox wolfs name, aside. what is with all these wolves being so giant ? she thought as the two wolves turned back to her. the new wolf was more lean then Eimear, but just as tall, his fur was grey with beautiful markings of white and black, but when he fully turned and faced her she took a better look at the markings on his fur. they weren't markings at all, it was patches ?, black patches splattered around his body. it looked.. unnatural. to say the least. and his eyes.. they where all white, no pupil or anything, just a ghostly white. 'are you blind ?' Nellie bly asked, it slipped out before she could think better of saying it, but the wolf let out a short laugh. 'no i'm not blind, if anything i see more than you.' Nellie bly didn't understand the response, but she kept that to herself. these wolves where interesting, and just as she was about to open her mouth to ask if she could stay and learn more, the wolf with the patches spoke 'yes you can stay, but don't go into the swamp alone. its not a safe place, especially at night.' his tone of voice made Nellie take the warning to heart, and another question popped into her head, 'where's the rest of the pack ?' the wolf looked over his shoulder, nodding to Eimear that he could leave, and then he turned back to her. 'they travel... looking for new places to live. they go where ever the gods want them to go.' he said simply. 'oh and i should've introduced my self by now,' the wolf let out a laugh as he tipped his head down 'i'm Cashel, seer of the swamp'.
