Lore:
Shadow always knew that she wanted to be a scout. She would watch Glacier go out everyday when she was a pup and knew that was what she wanted to do. So when Shadow was finally old enough she asked Glacier if she could go out scouting with her. Glacier warned her that it would not be a easy journey for such a young wolf but Shadow didn't care. Shadow wanted to be a scout more then anything else. Finally after months of training Shadow was finally proclaimed the packs second scout. Shadow has never let the pack down and has scouted many new biomes the Tundra and Glacier being some.

Shadow was always kind to her half-brother Muerte and accepted him. When Shadow and Muerte's mother Raven died, Shadow knew it would be hard on her brother even worse was that he had to deliver her soul to the afterlife. But Shadow was there for him to cry and the siblings became even closer.

It wasn't long after Raven's death that Shadow came across an sick baby raven that had been kicked out of its nest. Reminding Shadow of her mother she nursed the young raven back to health. She named the raven Ebony and they have never been apart since. They work as a team when scouting Ebony flies ahead to look for any dangers and Shadow offers Ebony food, protection and safety. Ebony and Shadow are best friends and will always be together and even on the rare occasions that they are apart they are always together.

It had been many years and Shadow had done her role her whole life she had discovered new biomes seen many mysteries come and go. Unfortunately, age waits for no one, and it had caught up with Shadow, she knew that she needed to train a replacement an unnamed adolescent caught her eye. She was adventurous and bold something Shadow respected in her. Shadow trained her apprentice and told her many stories of her family and what she had found on her adventures. Shadow treated her like her own daughter as she had none of her own. Shadow was surprised when her apprentice took the name Ravenwing. Ravenwing said that it was in respect to Shadow's family, Shadow proud of her apprentice and she passed knowing that her legacy was in good hands.
