Apollonia met Denali very recent but after a few weeks of being around him she decided she wanted to be more than a packmate. Upon being pairbonded with him she received glowing red Protector markings symbolizing that she is more than just the Protector alpha's mate. She became a Protector herself and found that she has the same type of abilities Denali has himself.
