He and Meum were childhood friends from a pack now long gone, and when it disbanded, the two were one of the only wolves that decided to stick together and form a new pack. He is pretty humble about his position as the queen's companion (he's not Meum's mate, but he is her closest friend, and thus the only one she trusted to help her rule).
Meeting other wolves to help him and Meum form Hollow Trees was hard, but they were grateful to the wolves they did manage to meet who decided to stick around. One of these wolves was Latro, a she-wolf he fell in love with while teaching her about pack life. He was surprised when she confessed to him first, but that shock turned into excitement. Together, they raised their son, Sagitte.
