Biography
Blizzard was nervous about joining Hollow Trees at first, even though Queen Meum' welcomed him to stay. He hardly remembered what it was like to live in a pack before then - being kicked out of his own very young. But soon, his trust for his other packmates would grow, and he found a good friend in Coco through their shared experiences as scouts of Hollow Trees.
He also found love in a she-wolf named Ignis, and they were happy together for many moons. However, Ignis was quite a few moons older than him, and though Blizzard knew it would happen someday, he was still unprepared for the day his mate would leave him to join the heavens. It all just happened so fast. One evening, he was curled up next to Ignis in their shared nest, relishing in her warmth, and the next morning, he was all alone, surprised by the sudden cold beside him.
Blizzard had been with Ignis for so long that he couldn't imagine a life without her, and being forced to live in the reality he didn't want so suddenly made him bitter for a while. Not even his own pups could cheer him up, for when he looked into Tempest's green eyes, he was always reminded of her mother. As for Luto, he may not have been his and Ignis' biological son, but he didn't make things any better by telling Blizzard stories about the good times they had with Ignis. He knew his son was only trying to help, but all these memories did was made him feel worse.
Really, the only wolf who truly helped him through that dark time was Coco, who reminded him that Ignis would've wanted him to be happy and to move on. Seeing Blizzard miserable over her would've made her feel miserable in turn. It didn't mean he should forget her - of course not. It just meant that he couldn't spend the rest of his life sitting around in sorrow. If the legends were true, Blizzard would surely see Ignis again when he too passed, and that would be his reward. He could survive without her.
Blizzard never stopped missing his lover, but from this point on, he kept his head up and focused on what he still had. If nothing else, Coco, Tempest, and Luto would always be there for him.
