Biography
You wonder why Freesia keeps her around, as she's not exactly a pretty wolf (and therefore not at all the leader's type), and her personality is about as interesting as a field of grass.
You understand why the pack respects her, though, when you witness her during a hunt. Her senses are incredibly keen, and no prey's scent seems capable of eluding her nose. You admit, then, that despite how she may seem, the dark-furred wolf is actually something quite special.
Hollyhock's origins are mysterious, and with how reclusive and private she is, no wolf has ever been able to extract much—if any—information from her. Her packmates might have minded if she weren't so hardworking and loyal. The members of her hunting party see her as a wise leader, and her adopted son, Walleye, defends her against anyone who might try to insult or undermine her.
Not that she needs him coming to her defense. Hollyhock has never concerned herself with what others think or say.
