Mistfall was an imaginative little boy who could spend hours in his own little world. He rarely played Tag or Lava with the other pups, and when he did, he was likely to get distracted and lose the game simply by inattention. It wasn't uncommon for the adults to call him two or three times to dinner because he was just not paying attention. His parents worried about him, but his pupsitter Streampelt said it was only a phase and he'd grow out of it. Meanwhile, Mist's favorite pastime was to play Pretend Pack as the herbalist. Stream took special notice of that.
As an adult, he's grown out of her lack of attention, just as his elders predicted. His work as an herbalist helps remind him to stay in the moment. Getting distracted even for a moment during a treatment could mean disaster for a patient, so he makes extra effort to be present. But after a long day, he still likes to visit his fantasy world and tell stories to his packmates that come from it.
