Gyllir was apart of the Pack of Red Fires; a small pack living upon a nearby mountain planted among thousands of Indian Paintbrush Flowers.
Her pack was wiped out by famine and she was in fact the last remaining wolf among them.
While out during an exploration, Lead wolf of the Golden Circle: Loki found Gyllir starving on the brink of death. His pack was small at the time and he managed to drag her home, feeding her scraps to try and get her weight up. With enough time Loki managed to save Gyllir from the brink and offered her a position as a hunter in his pack.
Shortly after Gyllir joined the pack Loki returned with another female, named simply Sleipnir. She took to caring for all of Gyllir's pups whenever she could despite how frail they always seemed to be. Due to her attentiveness and her loyalty to Gyllir the two became increasingly close. Soon becoming what would by all accounts be called a bonded pair. Including love and romance shared between them. Gyllir always bringing Indian Paintbrushes to Sleipnir.
Together both Gyllir and Sleipnir are becoming older, hoping to produce an heir to live on in their name. Hoping that Loki would be willing to help them. Sleipnir had a beautiful cub they have together named Valhalla, heir to their lines and a future member of Loki's pack.
