Lore (optional): Soay had never been to the desert before. She had heard rumors it was a terrible place. A flat land full of brigands, coyotes, and roving bandits, who wouldn't hesitate to hunt another wolf in a heartbeat. But despite these tales, Soay was still determined to see it for herself. She wanted to visit as many biomes as possible as she could within her lifetime, and figured she'd rather risk potential danger than spend her entire life cooped up in one place.

However, in comparison to the harsh and barren landscape, Soay found the Desert Stars to be surprisingly kind. Despite her being a complete stranger, they welcomed her with open paws. Despite her being a complete stranger, they soon welcomed her with open paws - giving her fresh food and a warm bed to lay her head, so she could rest from her long journey. This was even more unexpected, given the harsh appearance of many of the desert wolves -- who often decorated with long scars and missing eyes; and their pelts dangling with teeth, bones, and other trophies.

Soay learned that many of the wolves here were refugees or former bandits, who had often been driven from their homes, and needed a place to rebuild. Which explained why they were so friendly to a stranger like herself. They seemed particularly enamored with her hat - though she refused to part with it, no matter how hard they tried to bargain.

Soay spent about a week in their territory, swapping stories and helping to watch over the pack's pups during a particularly harsh winter. Who knew the desert could get so cold? Eventually however, she felt her heart stirring her to adventure again, so Soay set out on a journey to find a new territory to explore.
