Murky Heart, sister of Sand Shifter and daughter of Wisp Whisper, has never known peace. From an early age Murky had received the attention of her father more then her sister, but the older she got, the more that fact unnerved and upset her. Her father spoke of gods watching them, using wolves as their puppets to shape the world and tell the story that they wanted to see. He spoke of a million eyes trained on him, spoke of scripts and lines, and finally spoke on how this supposed story was going to end.

Sandy Smirk was going to kill him for the position of leader, because the story demanded it's sacrifice.

Murky Heart never unheard those words once they were spoken, and carried the burden of knowledge with her up until Wisp Whisper was found dead, and Sandy Smirk couldn't even look her in the eyes when she said he fell on his own. Murky Heart keeps her sister's secret as they move territories, and will continue to keep it for the rest of her days.

She now walks the path of a Herbalist, considering there are not many Pups to be looking after, and takes pride in her work. Still, the things her father spoke of swirl in her head daily. This can't all just be a story written by some higher power, can it?
