Azalae: The Pack's New Prophet
Azalae is a young pup who was bought by Alpha Cherry Root in the spring. Azalae likes to play nice around the adults, but the other pups claim she's very vulgar and a bit mean. Of course, no one can prove her bad behavior to be true if not even the alpha has seen her do anything wrong. Despite the pack pups not liking her, the adults still adore Azalae. That is especially due to her aptitude for herbs and healing. She's a rather spiritual pup as well, which has helped her fit in well and learn the pack's traditions rather quickly.
When Azalae hit 6 months old, she took on a heavy title as a prophet in the pack. It was a title given to her by both Alpha Cherry Root and Queen Daybreak. This title, however, didn't sit well with all of the pack. "She's too young to carry a heavy burden like that," some say. "You can't possibly think she's ready to start interpreting prophecies, can you?" Those were common complaints to the leaders of the pack, but they never changed their decision. They had faith in this adolescent to guide them during uncertain times. In fact, Azalae was responsible for delivering a new set of prophecies that not even their temporary herbalist could deliver. She proved everyone wrong one day when she delivered the message of Trinity.
The Prophecy of the King
"A great evil stir in the pack.
Head the warning before the skies turn black.
A young male who is bold and strong,
His crimson eyes won't stare for long.
A young male of ice who means well;
Will soon find himself having to quell.
The son and daughter of a blessed with fur like the skies,
Shall be broken down with nothing but their cries.
Of radiance and sun come the end of days-
Banished and slaughtered by a son's twisted ways.
Although the pack is in trouble, soon they shall see light.
The light in the form of a blossom, is coming to bring blight."
Azalae's warnings brought much confusion to the pack. The elders were uncertain of all the wolves who were referred to in the prophecy, but they were able to determine that Nooman, Haruki and Asuka were part of it. Golden Sun and Radiance were as well. Needless to say, this left the pack fearing for their future. They suspected Nooman might've been the twisted son the prophecy was referring to, but Nooman never did anything wrong to justify their suspicions.
The pack would get the answers they needed soon enough on a cold fall afternoon.

It's not 'Ah-zah-lay', it's 'Uh-za-lee-ah'! Get my name right!
