Very proper, good mannered, gentleman. His family is everything to him and he would do anything to protect them... anything. His decisions are based on the wellbeing of him and the people he holds dear.

He didn't always have this one sided personality. He used to want to make peace with everyone, find solutions that benefited everyone. That is... until it backfired.

Years ago, Elijah had a son named, Sebastian. His wife died in child birth so it was just them. This little boy was Elijah's world. There was a fight between a group of humans and hybrids just outside the town he lived in. He broke it up and found a compromise for everyone.

A few nights later, those same humans came back and snuck into the town and released rats from a laboratory that carried a plague. The plague spread through the town, claiming many lives... including Sebastian's.

Devastated, Elijah snapped. Once his son was buried, he hunted the humans responsible and tore them apart. Miranda witnessed this. Broken, Elijah ran and didn't reappear until Miranda's eldest son, Salem, tracked him down years later.
